About Us The High Point Improvement Association is a non-profit corporation and has been a voluntary community association since 1939.... HPIA is not a home owners association and does not set or enforce any neighborhood covenants. All HPIA actions are voted on and approved at community meetings that are open to all members.
Mission The High Point Improvement Association has two primary missions. One is to foster a sense of community in our neighborhood with our words and deeds. The second is to be responsible for the maintenance and preservation of the community beach, pier and boat ramp located at the intersection of Tidewater Road and Riverside Drive.
Our Community Property High Point is a water privileged community. If you are a resident, you have direct access to the waters of Stony Creek through our community property, which includes a beach, pier and boat ramp. Through extensive volunteer efforts, HPIA continues to maintain and improve our community beach area. Having safe and functional water access is a valuable recreational resource and directly improves property values and quality of life.
